The Agra Bear Rescue Facility is the world’s largest bear rescue facility, home to over 200 Sloth Bears rescued from horrific lives as dancing bears, or from poaching and situations of man-animal conflict.
You can enjoy a personal guided experience at the Agra Bear Rescue Facility after booking one of the following slots;
9 am – 11 am, 11 am – 01 pm, 02 pm – 04 pm and 04 pm – 06 pm.

A 2-hour “short visit” gives you an insight and personal exposure to the world of sloth bears. The visit includes:
- Meet the team and get a guided tour of the facility.
- Watch a documentary about the rescue of India’s dancing bears and a discussion with our experts on the challenges of bear conservation in India.
- Enrichment building activities or fruit/porridge distribution for the bears.* (Subject to facility schedule)
- Meet our bears; Get a chance to experience their unique world as they play, forage for their feed, climb trees and dig in the ground and interact with our bear keepers.
*Please note that the ticket purchased at the entry gates of the Sur Sarovar Bird Sanctuary within which our facility is located is not inclusive of the visit charges of WildlifeSOS’ Agra Bear Rescue Facility.
